This green tea powder is partially shade grown (shading is erected over the rows several weeks prior to harvest), giving it a full-bodied, rich taste and deep green color. Machine harvested after Soman (the ‘full grains’ season), it is then ceramic ball milled into a fine powder. The two spreading leaves resemble an open bird’s beak and the emerging bud looks like its tongue sticking out. Jaksul nokcha is handpicked, artisan, whole leaf tea.
